This game is a university project created in one month.
The game is a roguelite game prototype set in the Middle Ages. You play the court jester of a mad king. Every day he demands that you make him laugh, and every day he makes even crazier demands than the day before. This continues until you disobey his orders once. You are promptly thrown into the castle's dungeon, where you are left to rot for eternity.
From this dungeon, you now try to fight your way through the castle to the throne room, where you must defeat the mad king.
I was tasked with completely programming the game in Unreal Engine (and all other task in engine like level design etc.), 3D modelling the characters and some props.


This is the main character, the jester, 3D modelled and textured in Blender for a stylized look.

These are in game screenshots. It has an isometric perspective with a unique level design theme of constantly going upwards. This was chosen to portray the jester fighting his way up through the different levels until he reaches the king.
